At the iconic Claridge’s Hotel in Mayfair, we were proud to contribute to the renovation of several of its exclusive guest suites. These rooms were designed to evoke timeless elegance while aligning with the traditional plaster mouldings and refined detailing that define Claridge’s heritage.

Working closely with the client and site teams, we delivered a series of luxury hospitality interiors that blend historical character with modern comfort. Every decorative element was designed, hand-cast, and installed by our craftsmen using proven heritage plaster techniques.

Bespoke Plaster Detailing Throughout the Suites

This project involved a wide range of custom plaster elements, designed to create a cohesive and immersive atmosphere that reflects Claridge’s Art Deco roots. Our team created and installed:

Bespoke cornices and wall panels: Hand-modelled to complement the proportions of the suites and reflect their historic architectural context.
Decorative plaster grilles: These custom plaster ventilation covers were designed to blend seamlessly into the room’s overall design while allowing discreet airflow — combining function with finesse.
Ceiling enrichments and roses: Positioned to frame lighting features and chandeliers, our ceiling work added depth and character across every suite.
Swag and drop frieze design: A traditional plaster motif used to enhance feature walls and doorways, executed with crisp definition.
Hand-sculpted corbels: Supporting and embellishing transitional areas between walls and ceilings, enhancing the rooms’ vertical lines.

These decorative pieces weren’t just ornamental — they were tailored to interact with modern services like lighting and HVAC, maintaining a discreet presence within the elegant interior palette.

Traditional Craftsmanship, Modern Five-Star Execution

All elements were designed and created using traditional plaster mouldings, then installed by our in-house team of specialists. We utilised advanced materials and time-honoured methods to ensure every detail met the five-star standards expected at Claridge’s.

By setting out everything on site, hand-finishing our mouldings, and coordinating closely with architects and site managers, we ensured an end result that felt both highly crafted and seamlessly integrated.
