Our curated collection of plaster moulds includes plaster cornices, dado rails, ceiling roses, panel moulds and friezes that faithfully reproduce designs from the Georgian, Regency, Victorian, Edwardian and Art Deco periods. Our tailor-made plasterwork products include custom plaster arches, tailor-made columns, corbels and jesmonite composite products.
Everything is hand-made to order in our workshop using plaster making techniques that haven’t changed for centuries.

Here’s a look at one of the hand-set triglyphs we’re installing on this project – a key element of classical architecture, rooted in the Doric order.
Each triglyph was individually set out by hand around the perimeter of the room, including along a radius to ensure all mitres align perfectly. It’s a meticulous process that requires skill, patience, and an understanding of proportion and symmetry.
On a current project, we have had the privilege of helping to restore the building’s original ceiling, bringing back a key architectural feature that had been hidden and altered over time.
Working closely with the lighting and air conditioning teams, we carefully adjusted the layout to integrate modern systems while respecting the building’s character. A seamless blend of old and new that honours the past and incorporates technology of today.

At Fine Art Mouldings, we don’t just design and craft bespoke fibrous plaster ceilings, we also restore and preserve the craftsmanship of the past.
Architects and conservation specialists often come to us first to survey historic fibrous plaster ceilings. As part of our detailed photographic and written reports, we not only assess the condition of the ceilings but also delve into the history of the building, ensuring our recommendations for strengthening or repairs respect its original character. Our goal is to keep these stunning architectural features intact for future generations to admire.
